District 6 Toastmasters a Select Distinguished District

Governor of Marketing, Pat Croal Congratulations to all of the Members, Clubs, Areas, and Divisions of District 6! Collectively, we accomplished many significant educational and growth goals during the past year. As a result, District 6 Toastmasters will be recognized at the Toastmasters International Convention as a Select Distinguished District for the 2005-2006 year. We are proud to announce that District 6 finished in 12th place within the world rankings. Congratulations District 6. This year, District 6 was one of the elite 27 Distinguished Districts (out of 75 districts worldwide) to accomplish the Four Critical Success Factors. As a result, our district finished 12th in the World Rankings, and will be honored as a Select Distinguished District. I you will be in Washington, D.C., you are invited to join us on stage as we accept the District 6 award at the Toastmasters International Convention Hall of Fame, Friday August 25, 2006. Spreadsheet of Year-end Results As we conclude a successful year, we are very excited about our prospects for repeating as a Distinguished District in 2006-2007. Planning for success is the key. Jump in now and fill out a Club Success Plan. Attend a Club Officer Training session in July or August and learn how to set effective club and personal goals using the Distinguished Club Planning Process. We look forward to an exciting year that is Simply Amazing!
